BUSTER CATTLE COMPANY
Cattle work - dusty and hard at times, yet food for my soul.
Buster was the strongest and smartest horse I had ever ridden. He loved cattle work and would get cranky at the other horses if he didn't think they worked hard enough. He died a couple of years ago in a fall chasing cattle and many people, including me wept at the loss.
So when I started getting seriously involved in cattle with my mate Roderick Woodland at Diggers Rest and needed an entity, the Buster Cattle Company was the obvious choice. We run a small herd of short horn cows and droughtmaster Bulls. We muster two or three times a year using horseback and I absolutely love it as do the many tourists and woofers that stay at Diggers Rest Station. |
