If this was the scene behind them, imagine what they were shooting!
My partner Rachel and I started "On the Verandah" in 2009 when we held our first music events in Sydney and Perth. We wanted to create relaxing, intimate and informal events that had a community feel yet showcased top musicians.
Since then On the Verandah has grown to encompass all things creative.
We have a long association with the owners of Digger's Rest Station, Roderick and Alida Woodland. Both Rachel and I have helped them guide many a horse trek and I have had extensive experiences across a range of Kimberley interests.
We both share a passion for the Kimberley region and realised we really want to share it with people. We see people have the time of their lives when they come here, experiencing new things, forming friendships, pushing themselves in a way and breaking out of their day to day perception of themselves.
We know this area has a lot to offer creatives whether they be photographers, artists, home cooks, writers, or musicians, but everyone leaves here a little changed. This place is special.
